Help to provide a purr-fect place for Cat House cats until they find their forever homes. Volunteering at The Cat House is an opportunity to get as much as you give: a kitty kiss, a purr, a rub against the leg, the knowledge that your efforts are making it possible for one more cat to survive.
There are many volunteer opportunities available, from cleaning at the adoption facility, to making telephone calls, to fostering kittens in your home. Volunteers are needed at our shelter at 3633 “O” St shelter; some volunteer work can also be done from your home – perfect if you have an erratic schedule or are allergic to cats!
If you are interested in helping, please apply online or contact us by telephone or email. You will receive a response to your volunteer application. Volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; the parent or guardian should complete the volunteer application. The Cat House is currently unable to accommodate volunteering to fulfill community service hours requirements.
