Office buildings are not really set up to work well as cat shelters. To make our new building at 3633 O St a comfortable home for cats while they stay with us, efficient for volunteers to provide cat care (so we have more time to play with the cats!), and easy for potential adopters to meet the cats, we’re pretty much gutting the interior. Since we’re on a very tight budget, volunteers are doing as much work as possible. Volunteers have found that demolition is a great stress reliever and exercise program!
