DESCRIPTION:Help us to continue to help cats by making a donation through Tuesday\, May 25th\, through the Give to Lincoln Day giving event.  This is the 10th anniversary of Give to Lincoln Day\, and every year\, our friends and supporters have come together to help us care for homeless cats and kittens\, and we hope that you will do the same this year.  Give to Lincoln Day is especially important to The Cat House this year\, as it has not been possible to have our usual fundraisers due to the pandemic.  While adoptions hit a record number in 2020\, since adoption fees don’t cover even vet expenses\, The Cat House needs your help more than ever. \nDuring this event\, every donation made helps even more than usual because nonprofits receive a proportional share of a $500\,000 challenge match fund provided by the Lincoln Community Foundation and their sponsors.  The more donations we receive for Give to Lincoln Day\, the larger our share of the $500\,000 match fund! \nGifts made online at the Give to Lincoln site May 1 through May 25 qualify for Give to Lincoln Day and matching funds.   So make your donation HERE through May 25th and your contribution will have the maximum impact on Lincoln cats! \nFor more information about Give to Lincoln Day\, including options for making donations in person by cash or check\, see this information from Lincoln Community Foundation. \nThanks in advance for your support!
