Little Kohl was found at a department store in Lincoln (guess which one!). He was not even two months old at the time, was dirty, thin, and had been injured, probably by an adult cat. He was one lucky kitten to have been found by a kind person who got him to The Cat House.
Kohl, whose birthday is estimated to be around October 1, 2014, is healthy now and ready to be adopted. He’s a playful little guy who would like to go to a home with another kitten or young cats who would enjoy running around the house at top speed, chasing toy mice, and then cuddling. You can apply to adopt Kohl here.

Lynnie is a laid-back and calm sweetheart. She came to us as an expectant mother, but her kittens have been adopted and now Lynnie is ready for a home of her own. Lynnie gets along with other cats. She hasn’t been around dogs (as far as we know) but we think it’s likely that she would get along fine with cat-friendly dogs, after a gradual introduction. She’s likely to do well with children, too.
Lynnie’s birthdate is estimated to be around March 2011. If you’re looking for a calm, but playful and cuddly, cat, you need to meet Lynnie! Apply to adopt her here.

Garfield is a sweet, talkative young cat who gets along with other cats, cat-friendly dogs, and children. What’s not to like? It’s a mystery to us why this friendly young guy (he was born in July 2013) hasn’t been snapped up already. Don’t miss your chance – apply to adopt Garfield today! You can submit an adoption application here.

Jackson was only a couple of weeks old when he was found in late June 2014, in a colony of feral cats. He was bottle-fed by a volunteer until he could eat on his own. Jackson is a sweet boy, just a wee bit shy until he gets to know you. He loves other cats but isn’t sure about small children. If you’re interested in adopting Jackson, please complete an application here.
