Visiting The Cat House
To ensure that those who are seriously interested in adopting/fostering can spend time with the cats, priority is given to visitors who have submitted an adoption application, whether or not they have been interviewed and approved to adopt/foster. If you’re interested in adoption, please see our “adopt” page.
We continue to accept donations and to offer claw-clipping services to our alumni.

Give to Lincoln – May 2025
This Give to Lincoln Day, we’ve got a special furry friend who’s literally named Lincoln! This charming brown and black tabby was abandoned with a heart full of hope and a name that couldn’t be more perfect for the occasion. Lincoln is a fabulous young lady who loves chin scratches, window views, and reminding us why our city—and our supporters—are so special.
Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages to see what our girl Lincoln is up to this May for Give to Lincoln Day!

Ways to Help
WE BELIEVE THAT CATS OF EVERY AGE, HEALTH CONDITION, AND TEMPERAMENT DESERVE A LOVING HOME. PLEASE HELP US WITH THIS MISSION.
DONATE
The Cat House is funded by donations and adoption fees. Adoption fees don’t even cover our vet bills, so we rely on donations to keep our doors open.
VOLUNTEER
The Cat House is staffed and managed by volunteers. With a wide variety of tasks available, there’s sure to be something that interests you and will suit your schedule.
SHOP AND DINE
You can help The Cat House at no cost to yourself, while doing things you do every day – shop, dine, and search.
WISH LIST
It takes a lot of supplies and equipment to care for the 150+ cats and kittens in our adoption and shelter facility and foster homes. See a list of some of them on our wish list.
Donations Needed
Inflation and supply chain issues are impacting The Cat House, along with everyone. Wet/canned food has been especially difficult to obtain. Cat litter (unscented, non-clumping) has also been hard to find at times. All donations are welcome, whether supplies or financial! Click the link below to see different ways you can help the cats. Thanks for your support!
Trap-Neuter-Return
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a humane method of population control to reduce the number of feral cats in the environment and improve the lives of existing cats and their human neighbors . It is a comprehensive, ongoing program in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians.
